Johna Hungler

Johna our Education Manager graduated from the College of Charleston with a degree in Political Science and is currently trying to save the world one country at a time. In 2009 she went to work in Costa Rica where she fell in-love with 'the beach life', since then she spends her days dreaming about jogging and listening to Jack Jonson. Johna has a passion for travel, education, making home-made gifts and making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. Coffee, a good beat and the open road is what get's Johna excited in the morning.

Johna has been in Thailand since 2012 and has taught English to children between the ages of 2 and 5. Seeing Johna in the class is a breath of fresh air, her teaching style is what some may label the 'killing them with kindness' approach; she almost loves the children to death. What Johna lacks in years of experience, she makes up in enthusiasm and perseverance. By day you will find Johna reading and working hard on our TESOL course, at night she becomes a unlicensed, untrained therapist for friends and family.

Johna has a blog and loves writing about anything travel related. Feel free to take a look at what Johna has to say here.
